Conversations in High Jewellery

Every exceptional piece of jewellery begins long before the gemstones are set or the precious metal is shaped. It begins with an idea, a memory, a place, or a moment that inspires its creator. During my time at Precious Room Paris, I had the privilege of meeting remarkable independent high jewellery designers from across the world. Beyond their collections, I wanted to discover the people behind the work, their inspirations, creative processes, philosophies, and the stories that give each piece its meaning.

As a photographer, I have always believed that observation is as important as composition. These conversations grew naturally from that way of seeing. While my photographs capture the craftsmanship and beauty of each collection, these interviews reveal the passion, emotion, and vision behind them. From architectural forms and natural landscapes to personal memories and cultural heritage, every designer brings a distinctive perspective to the art of jewellery making. Together, these conversations celebrate the creativity, craftsmanship, and individuality that continue to shape the world of high jewellery.
